ANH Healthcare is currently looking for compassionate and caring Activities Coordinators for our Ashbury Nursing Home in Blackrock.

Full-time and Part-time contracts are available.

As an Activities Coordinator, you will:

• Support the Residents in carrying on of their daily activities under the direction and supervision of qualified nursing staff.
• Ensure that the Resident's privacy and dignity are respected at all times.
• Organise and maintain on a daily basis all standard activities, actively helping to promote and create the environment referred to in the mission statement and plan and implement special activities as requested by or as deemed to be of interest to the Residents.
• Be a committed, patient and caring person with a sense of humour and a positive outlook on life.
• Be highly motivated and have excellent communication skills to deliver your activity programmes to a range of people.
• Be able to work well in a team and liaise with other staff, volunteers and residents.
• Develop Activities that will help improve the intellectual, physical and overall health of the residents

Desirable:

• SONAS training desirable
• At least 1 year experience in a similar role
