Co. Wicklow. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to bring their skills and talents to Gheel and to move your career to the next level.Location Manager – Day Services – 1.00 WTE Full-Time, Permanent, – Greystones, Co. Wicklow.The Location Manager provides direct support to the people we support while also having overall management of the team in this part of the service. The service is in a day setting, supporting adults with a diagnosis of ASD to integrate into their local community and to live self-determined lives.The successful candidate will pursue initiatives which promote independence, personal development, and leisure activities within the context of the quality-of-life model. The Location Manager will be responsible for roster administration and related responsibilities such as leave and payroll submissions. The Location Manager will support high quality service delivery through day-to-day management, recruitment, induction, probation, supervision, and appraisal. The Location Manager will also oversee and make transition plans for new referrals.The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager and will work as an integral part of the regional team.Qualifications and Experience Requirements:Essential Qualifications for this post:Third level Qualification in Social Care or a related disciplineProficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and use of internet and emailFull Clean Drivers licenceDesirable:Management QualificationEssential Experience:Experience in a similar roleFour years recent experience in the social care/disability sectorExperience managing staff and possess the confidence to resolve issues as they arise at local level.Manage the rolling rosters and allocate staff as per service needs or requirementsA knowledge of New Directions guidelines.Ability to support and drive change managementConfidence and experience negotiating and liaising with external stakeholdersDesirable Experience:Experience of Adult SafeguardingHave knowledge and experience supporting people with Autism.Salary Scale: Successful candidates will be paid in line with 2016 HSE revised consolidated Grade V Clerical pay scale point 1; €40,209 – LSI; €48,496 per annum based on working a 39-hour week.The successful post holder will also be eligible for additional remuneration in addition to the aforementioned salary, point 1; €2,339 – LSI €3,121 per annum as per the phased pay restoration process between Section 39 Agencies and the Department of Health.There are 27 days of annual leave with this post.Terms and Conditions:The salary scale for the post is aligned with the Department of Health and Children Clerical Grade V.Hours of work are 39 hours per week with a high degree of flexibility built in to facilitate service needs. Details will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidates.
