Mc Graths Pharmacy, Sixmilebridge are currently looking for a part-time pharmacy sales assistant.
Previous experience working in a pharmacy and having completed the IPU counter assistants course would be an advantage.
The job on offer is for 20 hours per week (Thursday, Friday & half day Saturday).
The successful applicant would also be required to cover staff holidays.
The right candidate must be committed to delivering excellent patient care, must be hardworking and enjoy working in a busy pharmacy.
The candidate must have excellent customer service skills, organisational skills and must be a good team player.
The responsibilities of this role include: Serving customers while providing excellent service and care.
Selling over the counter pharmacy medicines (training will be provided).
Managing stock including date-checking of stock, checking off orders, restocking shelves and placing orders.
Dealing with customer and supplier phone orders and queries.
Liasing with the dispensary team to manage prescription orders and delivery.
Essential requirements: Outstanding customer service skills.
Fluent English.
Good IT skills and confidence using computer systems.
Willing to work as part of a team but also to take initiative and work in a confidential environment.
A friendly helpful attitude and a willingness to learn.
