Job Description We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join an amazing team and provide exceptional care to the elderly in the Carlow area. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical and emotional well-being of our elderly residents. Responsibilities: Assist elderly residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules. Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with residents. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for residents.   Respect and uphold the privacy and dignity of all residents. Requirements Relevant certification or qualification as a Healthcare Assistant. Previous experience working with the elderly is highly desirable. Knowledge of elderly care practices and understanding of their unique needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient nature. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
