Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient-centered care, including personal hygiene and daily activity support
- Monitor and document patients' health and report any notable changes to the nursing team
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement to patients
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for all patients
- Assist in the mobility and transportation of patients as needed
- Keep accurate records of care tasks performed and assist in administrative duties
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Must hold an EU passport to be eligible for this position.
- Previous experience in healthcare support or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to adapt to a new living and working environment in Ireland.
- Relevant qualifications or training in healthcare support are advantageous.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
