A position has come available in the Transport Department for an ‘Asset Management Administrator’. Barry Group, Ireland’s leading family run Wholesale Distribution Company, are seeking to hire an Asset Management Administrator to join the Group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and experiences Administrator looking to join a progressive Company for a 1 year Fixed Term Contract. The Asset Management Administrator will be responsible for the reconciliation of pallet movements to and from Customers and Suppliers with Chep Systems, to organize the collection of surplus pallets with Chep, to liaise with Internal Company Departments, to investigate the shortfalls and missing assets and the application of credits or charges to customer pallet accounts. It will be necessary that the successful candidate will report to their Manager as well as completing any tasks assigned to you by your Manager, the Head of Department or any other member of the Management Team where appropriate. Key tasks include: ä Associated administration through the Company IT System of daily pallet movements. ä Stock control of all pallets, Chep, LPR and Standard through the Company Supply Chain from Supplier to Customer and returned to business. ä Monitoring drivers pallet book dockets and matching count to the customer total. ä Apply tracking credits and charges to customers’ accounts. ä Transfer of pallet movements to wholesale and export accounts. ä Generating daily report of inbound and outbound pallet movements. ä Dealing with and working with suppliers/customers on any queries on their pallet account balance. ä Liaising with Warehouse and Transport Departments. ä General Office Administration duties. Required: 1. Ability to work accurately, with interruptions. 2. Good keyboard skills with experience using Word/Excel/Database Applications. 3. Fluent English. 4. Must be able to work on their own initiative and be part of a Team. 5. Good planning skills. 6. Good administrative and analytical attributes with attention to detail. 7. Good communication skills. 8. Knowledge of electronic systems. 9. Previous knowledge of Asset Management Control. 10. Working knowledge of FMCG Sector. 11. 2 years’ experience within a logistics/transportation with a working knowledge of asset movement management. 12. Minimum 3 years experience in Asset Management. 13. Strong attention to detail.
