MCS Group are excited to be working with a leading and innovative company in the FMCG sector to recruit a Key Account Manager.
This role involves joining a dynamic Sales and Business Development team to manage and grow key accounts, while driving business development and identifying new opportunities.
Fluent French is essential for this role, as you will be working closely with French-speaking clients and stakeholders to build strong, lasting relationships.
About the Role This role focuses on managing key accounts within the French grocery sector, driving long-term partnerships and identifying new business opportunities.
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for commercial negotiations, executing agreements, and cultivating strong customer relationships.
This position offers remote working with occasional travel to France (Paris) and the group's office locations when required.
Fluent French is essential, and strong key account management experience within the French grocery market is necessary.
Experience in e-commerce would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities Lead negotiations with national General Merchandise Stores: Secure long-term partnerships through annual agreements and commercial proposals.
Implement agreements: Manage product listings, promotions, and sales plans, and take action to drive growth.
Manage customer accounts: Set goals, create forecasts, and oversee investments.
Build strong customer relationships: Use a consultative approach to understand and meet customer needs.
Identify new business opportunities: Think strategically and practically to drive growth.
Drive the company's e-commerce strategy.
Coordinate between departments (marketing, sales, logistics, etc.) to ensure smooth operations.
Analyse market trends (pricing, promotions) and monitor brand performance, providing recommendations.
What You'll Need to Succeed Master's degree from a Business School or equivalent university qualification.
A minimum of 5-7 years experience, ideally spent in both field roles and Key Account Management.
In-depth knowledge of the French FMCG sector and its challenges.
Fluent in French.
Experience and interest in e-commerce would be advantageous.
What's on Offer £60,000 base salary with a bonus structure.
Flexible remote working with opportunities to travel to France (Paris area).
