Founded in 1971 by P.J. (Gussie) Lambe, Lambe Oil is a second-generation oil product distributor. Our company has become the premier distributor of oil products in the Irish Midlands. We provide home heating oil, kerosine, Agri-diesel, commercial diesel, petrol, and storage tanks. We deliver six days per week to Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, and all areas of Kildare. The role An exciting opportunity exists for a creative and results driven sales and marketing professional to join the senior management team at Lambe Oil. The successful candidate will take responsibility for all aspects of marketing, brand development and telesales within our business. As a member of the senior management team in a small but dynamic organisation you would be expected to be fully flexible with regard to duties, responsibilities and working hours. Lambe Oil aim to provide a supportive and encouraging workplaces for all our colleagues and we expect everyone to pitch in and support one another. We are looking to employ a professional with a flair for design, a strategic mindset and excellent communication skills. Specific duties and responsibilities will include: The development and implementation of creative marketing strategies that align with Lambe Oil and Sister companies brand identity and business objectives. Designing captivating visuals, including graphics, logos, banners, and other promotional materials, to enhance the company's brand presence. Responsible for all Brand Design. Managing social media platforms and create engaging content to drive customer engagement, increase brand awareness, and promote our products and services. Conducting telesales activities, including making outbound calls, building customer relationships, and generating sales leads. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions, and events. Monitoring and analyse marketing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and adjust strategies accordingly. Staying updated with industry trends and competitor activities to ensure Lambe Oil remains competitive in the market. Taking orders over the phone and input details into our system. Operating POS when required, dealing with customers at our office in Cloncollig, Tullamore. Opening and closing the office when required. Trusting and Respecting are essential. Candidates must exhibit honesty, integrity and transparency. We are constantly innovating, fostering an environment of continuous improvement. We want a person who encourages innovation and is open to new ideas. You must be flexible and adaptable. The successful candidate will have: A minimum of three years of experience in a sales and marketing role in the service or retail industries. Proficiency in graphic design tools e.g., Canva/ Adobe Creative Suite, to create visually appealing and impactful marketing materials. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey messages across different platforms. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships. Proficiency in social marketing platforms, digital marketing, and data analytics. This is a full-time permanent position based at our Head Office in Tullamore offering a competitive remuneration package. The successful candidate will also be enrolled on the company pension scheme. They will have the opportunity to earn a performance-based bonus. The company will also support the postholder with their continuing professional development which may include academic and short courses where they relate directly to their role with their role with the company.
