We have operations within six continents, with plant sites and offices across the world. Our potatoes might be beige, but our careers are far from it. We’re recruiting for a Customer Account Manager to work with some of our biggest customers in Ireland. It’s your job to manage and develop the McCain business through developing first class relationships with three of our key customers. Reporting into the Customer Development Controller and working alongside a team based in Ireland, you’ll be one big power house, achieving budgeted volume and net sales growth, whilst driving market out performance for the McCain brand within agreed parameters. This will be delivered through the creation and focused delivery of the annual joint customer business plan in liaison with the customer and consumer marketing teams. As well as full P&L responsibility, and monthly forecasting you will also… Track, measure and evaluate weekly performance Establish and maintain the most efficient McCain core range listings and distribution levels. Collaborate with our customer marketing team to produce and implement space and availability plans. Work closely with our category teams to delivery solid business wins through excellent insight. Create and deliver bespoke NPD sell in presentations and secure agreement to list through commercial and category rationale. Design, negotiate and implement a rolling 12 month McCain promotional programme aligned to the national brand marketing plan and category growth objectives. Participation in or management of special local or global projects to drive our commercial agenda forward. Deliver supply chain excellence to the customer through close partnerships with the supply chain team, and through effective volume management. What we’re looking for. As well as previous Account Management experience ideally with brand and/or own label, you must also have… Experience of project management and business planning FMCG experience ideally in brand or own label Strong commercial awareness and selling instinct and curious approach, with understanding of the FMCG market Awareness of category management data sources, and the relative strengths and weaknesses of each Ability to build relationships with good influencing skills Strong numeracy and literacy skills Competent with Microsoft Office especially excel for reporting You must also hold a full driving license WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
