Our client, is currently on the lookout for a Civil Engineer in Sligo. The company in question are one of Ireland’s most successful and growing Engineering Consultancies that operate as a multidisciplinary Engineering practice across the private and public sectors in Ireland. The successful candidate will work on a variety of civil engineering and building projects. This is a full time, permanent position, with great scope for career progression.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee civil engineering projects from start to finish, including design, construction, and final inspection.Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules in conjunction with clients and stakeholders.Perform site investigations and surveys to gather relevant information for project design and construction.Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports in accordance with industry standards and regulations.Coordinate with project team members, including architects, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure successful project execution.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.Identify and mitigate project risks and issues as they arise.Mentor and train junior engineering staff as needed.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.5+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project management.Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques.Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with project team members and stakeholders.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations relevant to civil engineering projects.BenefitsCompetitive salaryRemote working optionsA defined career path with clear objectives and ‘progression gates’A strong CPD commitment Tags:
