Job Description WANTED: my client in north Dublin is looking to hire a permanent IT Security Architect. This is a brand-new hands-on role. The IT Security Architect is responsible for advising on the design and implementation of all new IT systems and services, and ensuring that they comply with best practice security to effectively manage Cyber Security in a demanding 'critical national infrastructure' environment. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams responsible for the Networks, IT and OT systems that underpin a very large unique environment. The role will assist in the design and implementation development of systems, networks, standards, processes and procedures to drive security best practices. This role will ideally suit someone coming from a hands-on background, specialising in network and security related tech. You must have excellent communication, team lead, implementation, and stakeholder management experience. Knowledge of systems implementation and management, including configuration of access controls, security settings, patching, change management etc. IT and Cyber Security technologies and capabilities - incident response, threat assessment, malware handling and containment, analysing and investigating Indicators of Compromise (Io Cs)Excellent stakeholder and communication skills
