Galway. The succesful candidate will also manage the Mechanical Estimation aspects of the BID preperation. You will be working on Process and Water engineering projects in Ireland and throughout the UK.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for the estimating & bid process for all tenders.Managing and supporting the teams on each of your projects.Working closely with the commercial team, designers, planners and site teams.Supply chain liaison & management through tender and post-tender stage. Client interface.Attending regular tender / post-tender meetings with clients.Taking responsibility for programmes.Key Requirements:It is desirable that applicants have a background of estimating/bid management/MEICA design, as well as working on clean or wastewater projects.It is likely that you are currently working as a Pre-contract Manager / SeniorMechanical Estimator (preferably in the water sector) or similar role.Excellent technical ability in M&E and a strong background in preconstruction management.Level 8 Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.A background of delivering projects to budget and programme.Experience of analysing, compiling and managing tender submissions through to submission.Proficient in Microsoft Office software.Proficient in Microsoft Project and development of construction programmes (P6 also an advantage).Water experience preferred (clean water or wastewater).Excellent communication skills.Experience with estimating software (CCS, ConQuest, Cubit or similar).Organised and structured in your approach.
