The Core AI team is looking for a Principal Data Engineer to enhance data pipeline governance and quality control. In this role you can expect to have the responsibilities:
Develop technical controls for data collection, quality control, and compliance. Advise business leaders and stakeholders with data-driven insights to guide data product and solution governance. Collaborate with the data platform and infrastructure teams to manage data feed quality and resilience. Gain expertise in strategic data sources and data lineage. Identify key business challenges and provide direction to data analysts, product managers, data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders. This role requires you to have:
Experience in data pipeline management Knowledge of technical controls for data collection, data quality, and compliance Strong negotiation skills and vendor management experience10+ years of software engineering experience, with 7+ years in data engineering5+ years leading technical teams and managing complex projects Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field Expertise with distributed systems, streaming systems, and data engineering tools like Kubernetes, Kafka, Airflow Deep knowledge of Python, SQL, database design, and master data strategies Experience in defining, architecting, and rolling out data products Mentoring junior technical staff and incorporating modern software development practices Strong communication skills to lead cross-functional technical teams You would benefit from having:
Experience in the manufacturing industry or a similar domain Familiarity with handling IOT/edge device data Positions may require export licensing approval from the U. S.
