We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Change team The ideal candidate will ideally be German speaking and provide a comprehensive range of business analysis services to support delivery of a complex system migration programme and the business outcomes outlined in the business cases. He/she may also be leading other BAs on the project working with German colleagues and also be responsible for complex work activities. The candidate is someone who SME in one or more analytical techniques and looks actively for opportunities to provide consultancy, training and knowledge sharing. Key Responsibilities Extract information from all relevant sources to establish an accurate scope of the analysis exercise Undertake analysis of a range of complex data sources to produce options and recommendations for a workable solution, and drive action from key decision makers Gather and validate relevant information either through facilitating workshops, or other forms of direct engagement with stakeholders Present findings and recommendations to key stakeholder groups to support decision making Effectively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of solutions Establish appropriate Governance & control measures within projects which align with overall Change and Company standards Investigate and implement new analysis techniques to improve overall quality of analysis and effectiveness of solutions recommended Develop team capability by coaching, supporting, and developing less experienced colleagues to ensure that the appropriate skills and behaviours are committed to developing quality deliverables SME in one or more analytical techniques and looks actively for opportunities to provide consultancy, training and knowledge sharing Required to work on complex pieces of work as determined by factors such as relative size, impact on business, geographies, high levels of risk Being able to adapt to the requirements of different types of work (e.g. software change, service issue or a new product or geography) by planning and organising effectively Keeping technical & business knowledge up to date in area of expertise (e.g. relevant legislation changes, product rules) Proposing pragmatic, innovative, cost-effective solutions to business needs Influencing decisions across Phoenix teams where priorities and interests are often conflicting Seeking continuously and proactively to improve quality of analysis to improve service delivery, and/or business decision making Balancing competing priorities of different pieces of work and assisting with prioritisation for less experienced colleagues Maintaining a significant breadth & depth of knowledge as required for the role (e.g. industry, legislative, proposition and system knowledge) Ensuring a continually high quality of output to ensure solutions are a good fit for the end user and/or for further input Influencing decisions across Phoenix teams where priorities and interests are often conflicting Typically does not have budget responsibility May have line management responsibility Has responsibility and oversight of the work done by the analysis team Have responsibility to quality review the work of other analysts Develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders Required to work within the defined governance frameworks e.g. the Change Process/Change Management Framework What We’re Looking For Essential German speaking English speaking We want to hire the whole version of you.
