Job Description Summary
In this role, you will focus on the design, development, and testing of hardware electronics, including analog and digital circuitry and complex PCB assemblies. You will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, regulatory, and customer-facing teams to deliver innovative, compliant, and high-performance solutions that advance the world of health.
About The Role
As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will be crucial in advancing both new and existing hardware development initiatives from feasibility concept through to implementation. This position focuses on the design, development, and testing of complex electronic systems, including analog and digital circuitry, PCB assemblies, and cable harnesses. You will lead circuit-level design activities such as architecture planning, component selection, schematic entry, and board bring-up, while ensuring seamless integration of hardware into broader system architectures.
Main Responsibilities
Actively participate in the new and existing product development efforts from concepts to implementation.
Drive circuit-level hardware design phases including architecture and design, component selection, schematic entry, board bring-up, and integration of complex printed circuit board and cable assemblies into systems/instruments.
Support compliance with international standards (UL, IEC, FDA, CE/EMC) through rigorous testing and documentation, including EMC testing, ESD, transient, and radiated emissions evaluations.
Lead firmware development in embedded environments using communication protocols such as I2 C, SPI, UART, and CAN, collaborating with hardware peripherals, including sensors and motor drivers.
Coordinate cross-functional teams in software, mechanical design, and systems engineering to align with project timelines and budgets.
Generate design specifications, test protocols, execute testing, and produce associated test reports.
Apply tools such as FMEA to determine and document root cause of product failures and support design validation processes.
About You
Hold a Level 8 Engineering Degree with 5+ years of experience as an Electronics Engineer, testing circuit components.
