SENIOR SITE RELIABILITY ENGINEER
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Collaborate with software development teams to enable reliable and stable software servicesDevelop software solutions that enhance the reliability and performance of servicesOptimize software release and deployment of ABC systems and cloud infrastructure in AWSBe an advocate for availability, reliability and scalability practicesDefine and adhere to Service Level Objectives and adhere to standard processesEnable product engineering teams through support of automated deployment pipelinesCollaborate with product development as an advocate for scalable architectural approachesAdvocate for infrastructure and application security practices in the development processRespond to production incidents in a balanced rotation with other SREs and Senior EngineersLead a culture of learning and continuous improvement through incident postmortems and retrospectivesWHAT YOU’LL NEED:
5+ years of demonstrable experience as a Dev Ops Engineer across our technology stackProficiency in one programming language: Go, PHP, Node JS, Python or JavaExperience with infrastructure running 100% in AWSExperience with service-oriented architecture deployed on ECS Fargate & LambdaDatabase exposure to: My SQL, Postgres, Mongo DB, Dynamo DB, RedshiftFamiliar with infrastructure automation with TerraformFamiliar with observability & monitoring using: Honeycomb, New Relic, Cloud Watch, GrafanaExposure to CI/CD pipelines with Git Hub, Circle CI and JenkinsWilling to be part of a rotating on-call scheduleOpen to irregular work hours to support teams in different time zonesWHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU:
