Construction Planner - Civil Contractor - Cork

Our client is one of Ireland's leading Civil & Building Contractors with operations throughout the country.
They have a requirement for an experienced P6/MS Project Planner to join the civil team in Cork City.
Planning using MS Project & Primavera Software or Powerproject
Develop tender programmes including resource loading
Coordinate schedules with site management, design teams & contractors.
Understand & maintain the contract programme
Track & monitor progress
Develop & monitor KPI’s
Project Progress Reporting
Subcontractor Progress Monitoring
Assist with integration of programmes into BIM models (4d planning)
To provide strategic advice for safeguarding, and growth and development.
To engage with planning bodies as may be required, including through written submissions.
To work as part of a team, including through the flexible allocation of work as it arises.
Requirements
Relevant Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent
MIn5 + years previous experience spent in a planning role with main contractors.
Excellent computer skills would include – MS Word, P6, Powerproject, Excel, MS Project.
Knowledge of 3d and 4d modelling an advantage, but not essential.
Good communication Skills and ability to work as part of a fully integrated team is essential
Ability to take a multi-disciplined approach to building projects
Be technically orientated and fully conversant in drawings, specs, Bo Qs etc.
Be able to work to deadlines

Salary €65k - €75k depending on experience
