What's the role? As a Field / Sales Engineer, you will work across the Dublin region, providing technical input and advice to our customers. You will collaborate closely with our sales team to maximize sales opportunities and secure key applications with customers in this area. The role focuses on building relationships with technically oriented personas on our Focus Customer platform, finding the intersection between customer needs and the Hilti offerings, and maximizing our value proposition. Strategic thinking, soft skills, customer care, and technical competence are essential enablers. What does the role involve? In this role, you will provide engineering support to consulting engineers and focused customers, aiming to secure specifications and deliver high-quality engineering services. Your work will vary daily, from on-site visits to collaboration with the technical office team. You will also provide technical assistance and training to ensure consistent high standards. Good organizational skills are necessary to plan and prioritize your day effectively, including daily CRM system updates. Additional responsibilities include: Building relationships with key decision-makers in engineering departments Delivering webinars, seminars, and hands-on sessions on products, applications, and scope of work Promoting Hilti channels and services Introducing Hilti innovations in hardware, software, design methods, approvals, and services to decision-makers Ensuring timely and quality technical support from the Hilti Engineering Competence Center Encouraging Focus Customers (consultants and contractors) to specify Hilti products by default Understanding the strategic needs of Focus Accounts Promoting Hilti design software and overall engineering services Supporting account managers with technical opportunities on-site What you need is: A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering Knowledge of the construction industry and the design/construction process Previous engineering experience (on-site or in a design office) Strong networking and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders Effective communication skills and team collaboration A full, clean manual driving license Who should apply?
