We are seeking a Microsoft Business Central Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team in Ireland. As a Microsoft Business Central Functional Consultant, you will play a crucial role in analysing business requirements, scoping and effort estimation, configuring aspects of the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central platform, and supporting its successful implementation and optimisation for our clients as part of the delivery team.
About the role:
As a Microsoft Business Central Functional Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to define and implement business solutions using the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central platform. You will provide expert advice, support all project phases, and leverage your knowledge of the broader Microsoft cloud platform.
Key responsibilities will include:
Advising client organisations on the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central capabilities and functions.
Conducting requirements gathering and analysis with clients using standard methodologies.
Designing optimised business processes for our clients.
Understanding and recommending configurations and customisations in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, aiming to minimise customisations.
Supporting clients throughout all phases of the project, from requirements analysis to roll out.
Applying strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, such as Agile and SCRUM as well as experience of writing user stories and developing a backlog in Azure Dev Ops.
Maintaining up-to-date certifications in Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
About you:
We are looking for a detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for technology and business optimisation. You should have excellent communication skills, an inquisitive nature, and strong technical and analytical abilities. You will be part of a collaborative team that values new ideas and works together to solve complex business problems.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a functional role.
Preferably, 3+ full life cycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and/or Navision.
Strong experience in developing user stories and functional designs.
Ability to articulate the functional and technical infrastructure of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
Working knowledge of other Microsoft products such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Platform, Share Point, Office, Azure, and application architecture.
Experience in data integration and data migration as part of the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central deployments.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in non-technical language.
Strong consulting skills, including influencing abilities, leadership, and facilitation skills.
Masters or Certification in relevant fields.
