Role Overview The Project Controls Department Manager is a key role in the Operations leadership team, responsible for overseeing the Project Controls function across all projects, including reporting, cost management, change management, planning, estimating, procurement, and contract administration.

The role involves close collaboration with clients, operations directors, project managers, and other teams.

Reporting Lines Reports to the Business/Operations Director.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee and deliver Project Controls across all projects.

Develop proposals and project controls hours estimates.

Support business development and participate in presentations.

Recruit and manage project controls resources.

Build and lead high-performing project controls teams.

Develop procurement strategies in partnership with construction management.

Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and guidelines.

Implement technology for digitalizing project workflows.

Mentor and develop team members, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience: Degree qualified.

Experience managing industrial projects of €100m+ Previous experience in a Project Controls Management role Proven leadership and team development skills.

Strong relationship management and communication capabilities.

Expertise in project performance analysis and corrective actions.

Experience managing project scope, timeline, and cost changes.

Familiar with current technologies supporting project workflows.

Commitment to continuous improvement and lessons learned.
