This role reports to the Sr. Data Architect in the Data team.Your RoleBe a hands on Graph database expert – Design, Develop, Test, Implement & Support solutionsAct as a subject matter expert in data engineering and GCP (Google Cloud Platform) data technologies.Design and implement high-throughput data pipelines using a range of new and emerging technologies from the Google Cloud Platform.Understanding business requirements, translation to technical specifications, ability to map source-target, enrich ingestion framework to add internal and external source systems, ingest & transform data per business rules.Build capabilities to support enterprise data cataloguing.Design solutions with data security and privacy at the forefront.Work with Agile and DevOps techniques and implementation approaches in the delivery.Your BackgroundBachelor’s or Master’s degree in any one of the disciplines: Computer Science, Data & Analytics or similar relevant subjects.4+ yrs. of hands-on IT experience in the area of data warehouse, business intelligence, big data solutions, specifically in Extract, Load & Transform.At least 1+ yrs. of hands on expertise with Graph Database (Neo4j, preferably) – Experience with graph data models (LPG, RDF) and graph language (Cypher), exposure to various graph data modelling techniquesExperience in exposing Graph data to visualization tools such as Looker, Neo Dash, Tableau, Qlik, and PowerBI Proven expertise in SQL – subqueries, aggregations, functions, triggers, Indexes, DB optimization, creating/understanding relational data-based models.Exposure to Google Data Products (e.g. BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataplex, Looker, Cloud data fusion, Data Catalog, Dataflow, Cloud composer, Analytics Hub, Pub/Sub, Dataprep, Cloud Bigtable, Cloud SQL, Cloud IAM, Google Kubernetes engine, AutoML), Spark (Scala/Python/Java) and Kafka.Why join us?You can grow at Aptiv.
