As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of projects, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. About Your New Job We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with 7+ years of experience managing construction projects within a main contractor environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met. Lead and motivate a project team, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies. Prepare and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and control expenditure to prevent overruns. Provide regular progress updates to clients and senior management, identifying and addressing any potential risks or issues. Negotiate contracts and manage procurement processes, including sourcing and managing subcontractors. Review and approve project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports. Oversee site inspections and ensure that the project is progressing as planned. What Skills You Need A minimum of 7 years’ experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment. Proven experience in managing large-scale, complex construction projects across various sectors. Strong knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling, cost management, and risk mitigation. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality and efficiency. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and site management best practices. Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
