Retail Area Manager
Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced and commercially focused Retail Area Manager to lead a portfolio of stores across Galway and the surrounding region.

Salary: €60,000 – €70,000
As a Retail Area Manager, you will:
Oversee the performance and day-to-day operations of multiple retail stores
Drive sales growth, margin improvement, and cost efficiencies across your region
Lead, coach, and support Store Managers to deliver consistent commercial results
Analyse KPIs, trading reports, and financial data to identify growth opportunities
Ensure company standards, policies, and operational procedures are executed consistently
Manage regional recruitment, succession planning, and talent development
Maintain high standards across merchandising, customer service, and compliance
Conduct structured store visits, audits, and performance reviews
Requirements
This position would suit a commercially driven Retail Area Manager or senior multi-site retail leader who brings:
Proven experience in a multi-site or senior retail management role
Strong commercial awareness with a track record of improving sales and profitability
Experience developing and motivating high-performing management teams
Confidence operating in fast-paced, high-volume retail environments
A hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and influencing skills
A full clean driving licence
