We are seeking a Business Development & Sales Executive for our client, an ambitious Bio-Pharma company expanding into the UK market. Your main purpose will be to drive the acquisition of new business and manage commercial relationships with existing clients to meet commercial growth targets for the UK territory.


Meet sales targets
Develop sales strategies for own territory in conjunction with Commercial Director and MIAS BD & Sales team
Research prospects and generate leads. Engage actively with clients to identify new opportunities.
Actively seek out new sales opportunities through dedicated campaigns, networking and social media
Prepare and send quotes and proposal leveraging solution selling techniques
Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections from clients
Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions, conferences or trade associations
Comply with sales process and maintain CRM database
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure quality/timeline/profit targets are managed during sales and delivery cycles
Assist in the co-ordination of all sales and marketing activities in line with Sales and Marketing Plan; assist in monitoring the effectiveness of activities, identifying opportunities to promote within budget
Participate in the maintenance and implementation of the Quality Management System, including performance and participation in internal audits, and the retention of appropriate documentation and records.

BSc in Marketing, Business or technical field
5 years + experience in a sales executive position in B2 B business services
Knowledge and experience in Pharmaceutical sector
Knowledge and experience in quality and compliance is a plus
Practical experience of using solution selling techniques
Experience of using CRM tools and Sales Software e.g. Hubspot, Sales Force or equivalent
Excellent customer service and sales skills.
Good listening skills and attention to details. Excellent verbal and written communicator
Commercial awareness, hight level of resilience and ability to handle rejection well
IT skills including MS Office suite
Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to achieve desired results both individually and as a part of a team
Good self-management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
