Hiring on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst with a strong background in billing and revenue management platforms.
Responsibilities Elicit, analyse, document, and validate business and user requirements for processes, policies, and information systems
Define system scope and objectives through research and analysis of business systems and industry requirements
Translate business and user requirements into detailed functional and system specifications
Assess system interactions and impact of changes on users and stakeholders
Evaluate solution options including cost/benefit and ROI analysis
Design or modify complex information systems aligned to business needs
Develop and execute test plans covering system, integration, readiness, and acceptance testing
Validate changes to ensure application integrity and no adverse downstream impact
Train internal teams and external clients on new systems and procedures
Provide mentoring and quality review for less experienced analysts
Influence business partners on priorities, solution approaches, and platform selection
Requirements Strong experience with billing, revenue recognition, CRM, or ERP platforms
Knowledge of leading platforms such as Zuora, Aria, Salesforce, or Oracle
Strong understanding of end-to-end SDLC methodologies - Waterfall, iterative, and Agile
Expertise in requirements definition and solution design using model-driven tools - process models, use cases, conceptual models
Experience in the financial services industry
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences including at executive level
Proven ability to influence, persuade, and collaborate effectively
Ability to estimate effort for project components and deliver to deadlines
