Our client, a leading residential developer, is seeking an experienced Buyer to join their dynamic team in Dublin 4. The successful candidate must have a proven track record of working with building contractors or residential developers and possess strong IT skills. Knowledge of COINS software would be a definite advantage.

Responsibilities:

Source and purchase materials required for residential developments

Develop and maintain supplier relationships to ensure quality materials and timely delivery

Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings for the company

Ensure all purchases are made in line with the company's procurement policies and procedures

Maintain accurate purchasing records to facilitate analysis and reporting

Keep up to date with market trends and developments to inform purchasing decisions

Requirements:

Proven experience working as a Buyer for building contractors or residential developers

Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of COINS software would be a definite advantage

Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously

Strong attention to detail and accuracy to ensure quality control

Excellent organisational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines
