Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the Free Style Precision, Free Style Lite and Free Style Libre system. Main Purpose of the role• Individual contributor supporting the calibration department with comprehensive knowledge in specific area.• Provide calibration services for all equipment in the calibration database.• Respond to production issues involving equipment calibrations.• Ability to execute complex or specialized projects. Main Responsibilities• Manage and maintain the site calibration program and management system (Maximo) and associated assets, ensuring the site complies with regulatory requirements.• Manage & co-ordinate calibration schedules and activities, including external calibration service suppliers.• Interface with calibration service providers to resolve calibration related issues.• Coordinate and execute calibrations according to procedures and record data and maintain the calibration database.• Support calibration alert (out of tolerance) assessments including product impact where required.• Support set up and decommissioning of new and existing equipment.• Maintain and promote good working relationship with other ADC/Abbott Departments and external bodies.• Responsible for ensuring that the department Quality System is implemented and its effectiveness if maintained.• Compliance with EHS regulations and Abbott Standards by adhering to and maintaining EHS systems. Education Level Minimum Level 7 NFQ qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
