We are working with a leading Irish law firm who are seeking an Associate Solicitor to join their Competition & Antitrust team within their Dublin-based office.
The Role The successful candidate will join an innovative Competition law practice, working on all aspects of competition and antitrust, including merger control, competition investigations, and compliance.
The candidate's duties will also include advising on competition disputes and litigation, state aid, antitrust investigations, distribution and compliance, and foreign investment screening.
The candidate will play a key role in supporting clients across all industries in a range of complex competition law matters, with further opportunities to develop experience in public procurement.
The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.
Essential Criteria2-5 PQE; Strong background in competition law within a medium to large commercial firm; Ability to demonstrate strong commercial awareness; Outstanding academics; Technically excellent; Negotiation skills; Willingness to become involved in business development; Ability to work independently and as a team.
