Responsible Subject Matter Expert to ensure compliance of the metal detectors, check-weighers and Automated Date Coding System Autocoding.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage compliance to customer codes of practice, BRC, and legislation regarding weight compliance, metal detection compliance and Automated Date Coding System (Autocoding).
Completion of day to day responsibilities for weight, metal & autocoding compliance.
Completion of daily/ weekly/monthly process reports.
Overseeing completion of tasks for new product launches
Reporting and Communication with management, suppliers and customers should be accurate at all times in both written and verbal communications
Completion of investigations and preventative corrective actions.
To lead customer visits and audits with regards to metal detection and check weighing.
Management of training within the production team to ensure compliance (mentor & coach)
Flexible working hours for seasonable demand
Essential Criteria
Previous experience with metal detection, check weighing equipment & Automated Date Coding System.
Previous experience within Food Business minimum 2 years.
Hold a Level 2 HACCP.
Food Safety trained.
Used to working in a fast paced environment.
Strongly motivated to getting things right and to providing product of the highest quality at all times.
Excellent communication skills
Self-Driven and capable of working on own initiative.
