We are hiring 
Staff Nurse –Theatre
(Anaesthetic/PACU) to our Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
 
        Responsibilities
  • To work as a member of a team of nurses in the Hospital theatre department providing high-quality, patientcare care for patients and their families.
  • To develop and maintain good relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and to work closely with nursing colleagues to develop innovative practices within the unit delivering evidence-based care.
  • The theatre nurse will be expected to assist in a wide range of specialties (e.g. PACU, Anaesthetic).
  • To develop specialist knowledge of nursing practice relating to his or her clinical area.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and interpersonal relationships with all members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure good team spirit and collaborative working practices.
  • Support the theatre manager by meeting agreed responsibilities as set out by the theatre manager or the chief nursing officer at any time.
  • Identify and discuss nursing and patient needs with consultants and the nursing team, multidisciplinary team, patients, and carers.





Requirements


  • Possess a valid NMBI Pin and be included on the general division of the NMBI's registry of nurses (both of which are required).
  • Have worked in an acute Irish hospital setting for at least a year after registering (important)
  • Prior familiarity with theater anesthesia is necessary.
  • Possess demonstrated clinical and professional skills
  • Possess outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills and be a great communicator.
  • Possess strong IT abilities and be proficient with Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Proficiency in English is a prerequisite for the position.
  • Adopt a flexible approach to your work schedule.
  • Demonstrate the capacity to collaborate well with a multidisciplinary team.
