About Your New Job As the Waste Facility/Depot Manager,youwill lead daily operations at our waste processing site, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient movement of materials. Manage a diverse teamincluding sorting operatives, machine drivers, and weighbridge staffoverseeing rosters, performance, and mentoring with HR support. Drive operational improvements, partner with Maintenance, Transport, and external plant suppliers, and deliver on SLAs and site efficiency targets. Ensure compliance with EPA licences, waste storage regulations, and lead on record-keeping and communications with EHS, inspectors, and neighbours. Maintain high standards for yard operations, staff facilities, stock, and traffic management, directly supporting the companys ambitious growth plans. What Skills You Need Significant experience in waste management, depot operations, or similar industrial environments. Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities. Operational knowledge of plant and material handling processes. Understanding of regulatory compliance (EPA, health & safety, etc.). Heavy machinery experience (desirable, but not essential).
