Hope Childcare is seeking an ECCE room leader to work in our Cork full day service. We are based in Ballyphehane Cork City South. This is a full time position The position will commence in September 2024

Minimum Level 7 in Early Childhood or any relevant Early years qualification
Qualify for DCYA recognition
Must have knowledge of the Aistear Framework
Covid training
First Aid
Manual handling training
Fire safety certificate

Roles and Responsibilities:

Energetic, self-motivated, and strong work ethic
Assist with maintaining classroom order through observing, guiding, and re-directing children as needed
Prepare materials and organise classroom supplies
Assist with record keeping
Develop positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues
Meet weekly with team to discuss curriculum, lesson plans, issues, and questions
Assist with cleaning and setting up the classroom furniture and materials on a daily basis
Attend staff meetings and CPD training every month

Excellent Interpersonal Skills and ability to work as part of a team essential.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for children and their individual development.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of an amazing team.
Staff will be required to work between the hours of 0800-1800, Monday to Friday
Ongoing training and opportunities for further development.
