AVK-SEG UK Ltd is a leading company in the energy sector, dedicated to driving innovation and sustainability in critical power installations.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Manager to join our team.

As the EHS Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our operations.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive EHS programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, risks, and non-compliance with EHS standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees, contractors, and suppliers.

Monitor and evaluate workplace hazards and implement appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.

Maintain accurate records of EHS incidents, inspections, and training activities.

Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and permits.

Review and update EHS policies and procedures to reflect changes in regulations and industry standards.

Lead emergency response and crisis management activities, including the development of contingency plans.

Stay current with industry trends and emerging EHS issues, and implement best practices to continuously improve EHS performance.

Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in EHS management roles, preferably within the energy or industrial sector.

Thorough knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.

Experience in developing and implementing EHS programs, policies, and procedures.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate EHS requirements to all levels of the organization.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate EHS risks.

Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve EHS objectives.

Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are preferred.

Experience in conducting EHS audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

Knowledge of ISO 14001 and/or OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 standards.

Proficiency in EHS management systems and software.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in EHS performance.
