Applications are invited for the following post: Engineering Manager - Web Platform (Permanent Wholetime) Reference 67/2026 Role Description Reporting to the Senior Manager for Web & Digital, the Engineering Manager, Web Platform is one of two managers responsible for leading the support and future development of The role will work closely with the Web Development & Digital Performance Manager, under the guidance of the Senior Manager, in the task allocation and delivery of the web site work programme. The Web Development & Digital Performance Manager is responsible for website content, user experience, SEO and accessibility. This role, instead, has lead responsibility for the technical operations and continuous improvement of the TU Dublin website and other technological platforms. These other platforms include a Digital Asset Management system (Canto), a suite of web analytics and performance tools (including Google Analytics, Clarity, Silktide, and Semrush), a ticketing support system (Zendesk), and Git Lab for code version control, wiki, issue log, and CI/CD pipelines. The successful candidate will also manage the website CMS and have a key role in the periodic review of the CMS platform against potential alternatives. This role will initially start as an individual contributor, but it is envisioned to evolve into a people management role as the TU Dublin recruitment plan is progressively implemented over the coming years. As such, it could be a great opportunity for a technically savvy professional that wants to develop their career as a people manager. Hours of Work: A 35 hour working week is in operation. Location: The post will be based at one of the TU Dublin Campuses i.e. Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Grangegorman, Blanchardstown or Tallaght. Regular attendance at other sites will be required.
