Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid: 3 days per week in office).
Role Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the AML compliance program for our Irish‑licensed entity with payments operations across 53 countries.
Hold the Pre‑Approval Controlled Function responsibility (PCF‑52) under the Central Bank of Ireland Fitness & Probity regime and lead a cross‑functional team to ensure execution of anti‑money laundering and regulatory compliance obligations.
Review, assess, and enhance the AML compliance program in your region to keep up with developments & best practice.
Work with the board and senior management and proactively escalade any issues resulting from monitoring or tracking to the executives.
Responsibilities may expand over time should the business increase product offerings or other business initiatives.
Role Requirements
Substantial European AML/CFT or regulatory financial services compliance experience and in‑depth knowledge of consumer retail or financial services products; experience should be from a complex retail, consumer finance, or payments services organization, or from a regulatory agency/law firm specializing in money transfer or payments services compliance issues.
Strong leader with excellent organisational skills, high ethical standards.
Ability to operate in a highly complex and dynamic organisation, be detail‑oriented while seeing the bigger picture to ensure compliance aligns with business strategy.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills; build long‑term relationships internally and externally on trust and respect.
Experience engaging, advising, and influencing senior business and risk executives; comfortable working with regulators and authorities worldwide.
