About the Job
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will lead and manage the strategic and operational performance of Oral Solid Dose Manufacturing, GMP Labs and Packaging within Eirgen, ensuring the successful delivery of site operations, business strategy and site objectives.
You provide leadership to your team by building a strategic vision for people development, compliance and operational excellence. You are responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts and cross-functional collaboration by establishing and tracking goals and performance targets.
You will:
Ensure the smooth running of all site operations including High Potency OSD Manufacturing & Packaging Operations, GMP Lab Performance and Compliance
Ensure all work carried out is in compliance with the required standards, conforming to company c GMP, Financial and Health & Safety standards.
Prioritise and focus the team's efforts to build robust operations processes that ensure patient supply.
Sit on the Eirgen Senior Leadership team and play a key role in effective running of the business
Partner closely with Quality and Supply Chain to drive strict adherence to batch release targets.
Partner with Procurement to ensure sufficient supplies and materials are on hand to support operations.
Partner with Supply Chain on the governance model for the creation, modification and endorsement of site production plans and scheduling.
Develop and implement relevant KPIs that drive a continuous improvement mind-set for operations teams.
Ensure financial governance - oversee the preparation and management of department budgets to timelines, anticipating resources and allocations required
Work seamlessly with Finance to track and manage financial KPIs and targets.
Provide leadership, drive technology and deliver strategy
Develop and coach direct reports and teams, to ensure effective succession planning and people development plans are in place
Working with all staff members to maintain and develop the positive progressive culture within Eirgen.
Health and Safety
Ensure requirements of Eirgen Safety Statement are implemented
Continuously promote a positive safety culture by leading by example
Participate as part of site management team into effective running of the business
About you
Qualified to a minimum of degree level with a post-graduate qualification (MS, MBA) advantageous, you have a minimum 10years experience working in c GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing, engineering or quality operations, 5 of those years in a leadership role. With cross-functional project experience, knowledge of EU & FDA c GMP guides and best practices you have the ability to function in a rapidly changing environment while balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.
You are an effective leader and have built, managed and motivated teams in the past. You also have a proven track record as an influencer at senior management level, are analytical and a strong decision maker with excellent problem solving skills. You manage change collaboratively and possess excellent written & verbal communication skills.
You will draw from many other attributes including critical thinking, customer focus and time management. You have the ability to form positive relationships and enjoy collaborating, gaining knowledge and solving customer, partner, vendor and internal challenges/issues. Focused on Continuous Improvement you like to identify and initiate process and system changes to their conclusion ensuring delivery of results for the business.
