We are now inviting applications for the role of a Retailer Profitability Accountant within our Musgrave Retailer Profitability Team in Tramore Road. Reporting to the Head of Retailer Profitability, this role will be responsible for the completion of retailer specific profitability analysis with the core objective of improving bottom line performance for our retail partners. Key responsibilities of the role include: Conducting Profitability and benchmark Review meetings with SuperValu and Centra retailers Analysing financial reports and data, identifying opportunities for profit improvement. Assumes role of Project Lead for various cost saving workstreams identified for the SuperValu and Centra estates. Budgeting and Forecasting of retailer EBITDAR movement. Driving retailer engagement in Cost Saving initiatives – regular monthly cadence with senior SuperValu and Centra sales teams. Provides relevant & insightful information & analysis to key stakeholders. Builds and maintains cross functional relationships with other Support functions across Musgrave as well as with the Stores providing support on new and improved ways to drive improvement & profit for the retailer estate. Promote cost awareness, saving opportunities and a continuous improvement culture throughout the business, through regular engagement and a strong focus on costs. Actively contributes to the insight & clarity provided by the finance team around recent retail performance from both a sales & margin perspective. Assists in preparation for weekly steering meetings (internal) and monthly council and cost forum meeting’s(external). The ideal candidate will have/be: The ideal candidate will possess all or most of the following: Qualified Chartered Accountant, ACCA or CIMA (minimum of 3 years PQE) Financial analysis and interpretation experience High attention to detail Excellent analytical mindset and highly numeric Commercial experience in Musgrave or an external business environment is an advantage.
