ResponsibilitiesRole Summary:Reporting to the Global Engineering Design Manager, these roles will be responsible for process/design engineering capability required to delivery of the strategic capital agenda and key global programs and initiatives for PGCS.The role will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of significant programs critical to the future success of PGCS and PepsiCo.Key challenges will be leveraging key learnings, best practices, new technology, problem solving and innovative design solutions to deliver a complex capital agenda while ensuring alignment and input from all key stakeholders.Position Purpose and Primary AccountabilitiesProvide Process Engineering capability specializing in process design solutions for PGCS Beverage Concentrate Manufacturing PlatformsEnsure new & existing products/formulas are manufactured to PepsiCo standards and consumer expectationsLead the design of key Strategic Capital Programs and InitiativesDevelop designs incorporating innovative solutions and leverage new technology to deliver value to the businessDevelop and leverage best practices from PepsiCo divisions as well as from other industries to deliver world class performance in plant and equipment design.Provide technical guidance during project design and implementation, including Commissioning & Process Qualification, to assure viability of technology in proposed configuration Utilize Engineering first principles, scientific methods, and processing systems knowledge to develop technical process equipment solutions that both create new business opportunities and solve existing equipment needs.Develop sustainable engineering practices and programmes ensuring sustainability in plant design and operation QualificationsEssential CriteriaExtensive design & project management experienceDegree qualification in Chemical, Process, or equivalent engineering discipline.
