The General Manager will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the playcentre, ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all guests. This position requires a strong leader who is enthusiastic about working with children, able to manage a team effectively, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the playcentre runs smoothly and efficiently.
Monitor the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the facility, coordinating with maintenance staff as necessary.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and equipment for the playcentre.
Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and support staff, ensuring that they adhere to safety protocols and deliver excellent customer service.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing time-off requests to ensure proper coverage during peak times.
Lead by example, creating a positive and motivating work environment.
Customer Service:
Greet and assist customers, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Handle customer complaints or incidents promptly, escalating issues to the Centre Manager when necessary.
Ensure that all guests have a safe and enjoyable experience at the playcentre.
Financial Management:
Handle daily cash management tasks, including opening and closing registers.
Health & Safety:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments.
Minimum Requirements:
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a playcentre, retail, or customer service environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic financial management skills, including cash handling.
Must be able to work weekends, bank holidays, and evenings as required.
Preferably First Aid, HAACP, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Salary for this job will reflect experience and qualification.
