This role is central to how we manage risk, make decisions, and build trust with our regulators and colleagues.

Duties & Responsibilities Lead the development and delivery of governance and assurance frameworks, ensuring alignment with Aviva Group standards and CBI expectations.
Own and execute the first line assurance plan, including control testing, thematic reviews, and risk-based assessments.
Providetimely, insightful risk reporting to Ex Co, ERC, and BRC, and manage key deliverables likeour risk scorecard.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and the first line risk contact for Group, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Lead and develop a team, fostering collaboration across governance, assurance, ORCM, transformation, and pensions functions.
Skills & Experience Strong knowledge of insurance regulation and risk frameworks Experience in governance, assurance, or risk control roles Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Proven leadership and team development experience Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities What will you get for this role?
