We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this exciting role include:

Full responsibility for Quality and Compliance across Warehousing and Distribution activities as well as all other GMP activities related to Importation, Clinical Trials Logistics, Packing Services and QP Certification;
Act as the "Responsible Person" and be named on the relevant licenses from the HPRA and/or other relevant authorities, including Life Science and other relevant non Life Science related sites.
Carry out duties in such a way as to ensure that the wholesale distributor can demonstrate GDP compliance and that public service obligations are met;
Work as part of the UKI Quality Community leveraging expertise and contributing fully to the development of the function;
Manage and coordinate all QP activities in Ireland in conjunction with the contracted Qualified Persons required within the Irish Business;
Be the accountable owner of the QMS and for reporting its "health" across the Landscape (Life Science & Non Life Science);
Prioritise technical expertise in all areas (Product & Capabilities Development, Opportunities, Implementations and BAU) and in Computer Systems Validation (CSV) compliance;
Manage key stakeholder relationships with Regulatory Bodies, Inspectors, Auditors, Consultants and Customer and Supplier Peers;
Be the point of escalation for issues, major and critical deviations and action them following procedures;
Build close relationships with our operational and functional teams to achieve right first time standards;
Manage the capacity of the quality team to ensure BAU service is delivered and resources can be allocated to support Client implementations & Services / Product Developments supporting our Grow Ireland Life Science Plan.

A minimum of 1 year experience in a lead quality role within life sciences / pharmaceutical warehousing is essential (Clinical and Bio Pharma);
Details experience of audits via external bodies, i.e. HPRA;
Sound knowledge of Falsified Medicines Directive, Quality Metrics - GDP, GMP, GXP and an understanding of the Pharma & supply chain industry;
Market and Industry knowledge in particular around Gx P regulatory requirements and Gx P compliance QMS and associated procedures;
Experience in Medical devices, Cold Chain, Validation, Transportation and packaging;
Excellent communication, people management and presentation skills;
Flexibility to extended hours to meet the needs of the business;

Desirable:

Bachelor Degree in Science or equivalent desirable;
Qualified as a Responsible Person and able to be named on the license;
Ideally a recognized management qualification e.g. MBA, DMS or equivalent.
