Opportunity: Area Sales Manager Contract: Permanent Salary: €40- 45k per annum (including uncapped commission OTE €80K + company car) Location: Greater Leinster based. Hybrid working available. The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. Businesses in our group include Briggs Equipment Ireland, Aerial Platform Hire, Laois Hire Services, Future Events Hire, Galway Plant and Tool and Blulift Limited. Due to continued expansion in our sales team, we are looking for ambitious and motivated Area Sales Managers to work with our existing customers and to identify and develop new business working with new Hyster and Combilift equipment. In the role you will be: Achieving targets for new Hyster and agency equipment. Managing your territory to ensure effective coverage of account base. Identifying opportunities by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements. Developing negotiating strategies by examining risks and anticipating customer’s needs. Closing new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements within business operations. Updating your job knowledge by participating in internal and external educational opportunities. Aligning knowledge gained from the local and national market to support the company and its customers. Build a strong client database through effective self-generated leads. Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with all stakeholders to ensure that the company is providing the appropriate range and quality of products and services. What will help you to excel in this role: Extensive B2B experience working in a business development role Capital equipment sales experience (desirable) Ability to work on own initiative while being a strong team player Salesforce/ CRM system and Microsoft proficient.
