Our client is based in Tallaght , Dublin 24 and is currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Control Manager to join their team.
This is a permanent role and salary is circa €60k plus generous bonuses.
(No weekend work) This is a key role within the organisation.
Achievement of agreed targets and service levels will be critical to on-going success.
The role will also involve close and regular communication with the warehouse, finance and sales team.
The supply chain environment is constantly adapting to customer and market needs and the need for flexibility will be important.
The main purpose of the role is to oversee the companys inventory, ensuring accurate records, maintain stock levels to maintain a high service level, co-ordinating with various departments and optimising processes for efficient supply chain management.
DUTIES OF THE ROLE : Collaborate with suppliers to build relationships and manage replenishment of stock efficiently.
Analyse stock data to identify trends and forecast accurately.
Implement open to buy process by working closely with retail business in particular.
Manage team of two administrators.
Work closely with warehouse to streamline stock management processes.
Implement and maintain best practice for stock control processes.
Ensure compliance with company policies.
Support finance team with stock valuations and reconciliations.
Cycle counts and stock audits to identify discrepancies.
Update pricing on system and monitor margin.
Monitor and work for most cost-effective method on all inbound consignments.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE : Ability to work in a fast based environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in stock management software and strong Microsoft Excel is essential.
Ability to analyse and make data driven decisions is a must for this role.
Knowledge and understanding of a professional supply chain environment is required.
Experience within a professional retail related environment with exposure to managing an open to buy process would be an advantage.
Ideally a minimum of 3 years in a Stock Manager Role is required.

A genuine desire to help support a positive team environment coupled with high levels of self-motivation.
