Job Description - Portfolio Manager Compensation Manager
The PM Compensation Reporting & Analysis team at Millennium is responsible for all compensation related accounting, reporting and analysis for the firm’s portfolio managers. This group collaborates with Portfolio Managers, Trading Management, Human Resources, and Legal on the reporting and analysis of compensation agreements.
Principal Responsibilities
The team is responsible for preparing month-end accruals, year-end formulaic compensation, reporting, analysis and various ad hoc requests related processesThe role will drive strategic projects to help increase efficiencies through process re-engineering and automation, including cross-functional collaboration with technology, senior management and portfolio managers.Implement reporting/analysis to senior management that adds value/impact to overall businessThis position demands an analytical approach to problem-solving, as well as outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills. It requires you have a keen eye for detail and able to deliver in a fast-paced, demanding environment while remaining calm under pressureQualifications/Skills Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting or other business-focused majors7+ Years experienceACA or ACCA qualifiedStrong communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong leader who lead cross-functional working groupsQuick learner, detail oriented; proven thoroughness and strong ownership of workStrong Excel skills (including v-lookup and pivot tables)Ability to prioritize in a fast paced, constantly changing environment; high sense of urgency and resilience
