Job Title: Reinsurance Operations Manager Location: Remote/Ireland Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Reinsurance Operations Manager on behalf of a well-capitalised and innovative reinsurer with international operations.

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based anywhere in Ireland, with occasional visits to the company's head office and limited travel across the year.

In this role, you will play a central part in the delivery and ongoing improvement of reinsurance operational processes performed by a third-party offshore team.

You will act as the operational lead for quality, training, and service performance, ensuring excellence in the areas of credit control, binding, cessions, and more.

You will also contribute to broader transformation initiatives, helping to integrate new workflows arising from changes to underwriting and finance systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong remote team leadership skills, attention to detail, and a background in (re)insurance back-office operations.

Your Role Lead operational oversight for outsourced reinsurance support processes Liaise daily with offshore teams to ensure accurate and timely data input Coordinate rollout of system and process changes to the offshore function Maintain updated SOPs, ensuring clarity and consistency across all documented processes Support control activities, reconciliations, and data integrity checks Act as a process SME for internal teams and provide guidance where needed Deliver offshore training where required, remotely or in person Build and maintain a framework of KPIs to assess and manage performance Travel may be required periodically to offshore sites or HQ Your Skills Minimum 10 years' experience in the (re)insurance sector, preferably with operational or delegated authority exposure Demonstrated ability to manage offshore or remote teams Strong coordination, documentation, and process improvement skills Ability to oversee high-volume transactional work and maintain controls Familiarity with reinsurance platforms is beneficial but not essential Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally Excellent Excel proficiency and comfort working with data Should this position be of interest to you please call Tadhg at.
