Senior Practice Accountant | SME Firm | Dublin West A fast-growing and ambitious Accounting, Audit & Tax practice based in West Dublin are currently looking to recruit an experienced and career-focused accountant to join the team permanently.
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to progress very quickly within the firm.
Reporting to and working closely with the Partner the role will involve: Managing a portfolio of clients which will include the following: Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for SME businesses Assisting with the preparation of audit and audit exempt files to monitoring review standard Bookkeeping & payroll Preparing Vat returns Assisting with company formations and new business tax registrations Preparing income tax and corporation tax returns Filing Companies Registration Office returns Management accounts Projections, loan applications & grant applications Supervision and mentoring of other staff The successful candidate must have at least three years practice experience with a regulated accounting firm, have a clear focus on developing a long-term career in Practice and be a member of a recognized Accounting or Tax Institute.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Ideally candidates will have familiarity with the following software packages: - Relate accounts production & Drive - Receipt bank/Autoentry/Sage/Surf/Quickbooks/Xero - Thesaurus payroll - Core & Ros essential Candidates who can demonstrate strong commercial acumen awareness will have a distinct advantage.
