Senior Quantity Surveyor - Cost Manager - Consultancy - Dublin

Office/Project Location : Dublin City, Dublin

Employment Type:  Permanent

Work Location:  Office Based

Pay:  €90 K-€110 K

Experience:  10+years

Visa:  EU passport or Stamp 4 visa required

Reporting to the Construction Management Director, the successful candidate will interact with clients working both independently and as a team lead as the requirements of the project dictates. 

The role requires excellent cost control, procurement, contract administration, and client relationship skills.

The successful candidate will take ownership of a wide variety of project types, (private and public sector) whilst managing a project team.

Management / Leadership of in-house Team

Contract Administration & Procurement

Managing Client Relationships

Development and implementation of strategic and effective cost management solutions

Liaise and mentor team members and ensure clarity of roles and clear lines of communication between all stakeholders. 

Interact professionally with client staff, proactively identify, and raise issues, ensure updates are provided in line with project requirements.

As appropriate, liaise with relevant 3rd parties, ensuring all interactions are in line with project requirements.

Support the tracking of financial progress and provide information where needed.

Contribute to Business Development. Further develop and maintain existing client/third-party relationships. 

Requirements

RICS / SCSI Chartered status with a BSc in relevant discipline

ca10 years relevant experience

Excellent IT Skills

A clear focus on Client Satisfaction and successful project delivery

Excellent Report Writing / Communication Skills

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Efficient planning and resource allocation skills

Ability to manage relationships effectively, identifying and resolving issues at the earliest possible opportunity.

A track record of working to tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting demands and priorities Core Competencies.
