What you will be doing: Site Reliability Engineer will play a critical role in driving innovation and growth for the Banking Solutions, Payments and Capital Markets business. In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the company's transformation journey, drive customer-centric innovation and automation, and position the organization as a leader in the competitive banking, payments and investment landscape. Specifically, the Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for the following: Design and implement observability frameworks (metrics, logs, traces) using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Open Telemetry, Splunk, or Datadog. Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets to measure and improve service reliability. Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Terraform, Ansible, or similar Ia C tools. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops) for safe and scalable deployments. Lead incident response: triage, resolution, blameless postmortems, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with engineering teams to embed reliability into the software development lifecycle (“you build it, you run it” mindset). Conduct capacity planning, performance tuning, and cost optimization across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Participate in on-call rotations and ensure 24/7 support for critical systems. Champion reliability culture and mentor teams on SRE principles and operational maturity. What you bring: Proven experience in SRE, Dev Ops, or infrastructure engineering roles. Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and distributed systems. Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation frameworks. Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh (Istio, Linkerd). Deep knowledge of CI/CD practices and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary). Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with security and compliance practices (RBAC, IAM, ISO/SOC standards). Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ownership mindset with a focus on reliability, scalability, and customer impact.
