Group Risk, Compliance and Audit Director
Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Audit Committee you will have full accountability for delivering a full programme of financial and operational audits from planning to execution.

Create and implement the global risk, compliance and audit framework.

Transform the risk control culture by designing, implementing and improving the risk framework, strategy, policies and processes.

Present risk tolerance and appetite statements to the Board for review and endorsement.

Conduct strategic and operational risk reviews across the business to manage strategic, operational and financial risk.

Prepare regular risk evaluations and progress reports for the Audit Committee.

Work collaboratively with business unit leaders to ensure key risks are understood and audit issues are addressed in a timely manner.

Test and evaluate all internal controls to identify areas that need strengthening.

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications

ACA qualified, Big 4 trained background preferred.

Previous Audit experience of operating in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Strong understanding of governance and compliance issues in a large organisation.

Track record of improving controls and reducing risk.

Worked for an international, listed company.

Self-motivated and results driven.

Strong commercial awareness.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Results focussed, consistent track record of meeting deadlines.

Ability to work at pace and under pressure.
