Your Team:

We are The Brand, Strategy, Marketing & Promotions team, dedicated to building and protecting all of Wireless Ireland’s Dublin brands, as well as delivering annual integrated marketing campaigns.

Wireless Ireland is part of News UK and wholly owned by News Corp.
Your Role:

As Head of Marketing, you will devise and deliver the annual marketing strategy and campaigns for our entire Dublin radio portfolio, including Dublin’s Award winning radio station and Wireless’s flagship station, FM104 as well as, the new home of Ryan Tubridy, Q102. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working with all members of Dublin’s key senior management team; Content Controllers, Digital, Sales and Finance leads, you will also get the chance to collaborate on and deliver in an extremely fast paced and exciting audio space.

This is a strategic senior role for a marketing leader with strong experience leading teams in fast paced, dynamic environments who has experience working across a brand portfolio.

Day to day you will:

Team Leadership and Mentoring: You will provide advice on leading and mentoring a young marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and professional development. Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to help the team achieve marketing objectives, deliver campaigns on time and to budget, as well as achieve individual growth KPI’s.

Brand Strategy and Management: Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies for each station within the Dublin Wireless Ireland portfolio and in line with new strategic brand positioning projects just completed for both brands. Ensure brand consistency and differentiation, positioning each station effectively in the marketplace. Drive brand awareness, equity, and loyalty through targeted marketing initiatives.

Consumer Marketing: Develop and execute consumer marketing campaigns to drive audience growth and engagement. Leverage consumer insights, market research, and industry trends to identify and capitalise on opportunities for brand promotion and expansion. Monitor campaign performance, analyse data, and optimise strategies to maximise results.

Digital Strategy:

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing digital content marketing strategies and campaigns. The role entails managing and coordinating digital media platforms, agencies, analysing digital data to inform strategic planning whilst achieving KPI’s.

Partnerships and Commercial Collaborations: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with commercial partners to enhance brand exposure, reach new audiences, and drive revenue growth. Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, leveraging synergies to create mutually beneficial marketing initiatives.

Budget Management: You will help to develop and manage marketing budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to drive maximum return on investment. Monitor expenditures, track marketing expenses, and provide regular reports to senior management.

What we’re looking for from you:

Strong marketing expertise, with real success and experience in management, strategic planning, brand strategy, digital marketing and ideally has managed more than one brand.

Proven track record in delivering exceptional results in a performance-based environment.

Strong experience in managing Marketing teams.

Ability to develop strategies from scratch, with outstanding attention to detail in order to turn these into plans and then push projects through to execution.

Creative thinker with ability to develop new concepts and adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape.
